PUBLIC ENTITIES ACCOUNT SERVICE COORDINATOR
The Account Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and providing insurance and risk management services for an existing book of business.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Under supervision of the Public Entities department Manager, the Public Entity Account Service Coordinator is responsible for the following duties:
- -Coordinates efficient service of public entity accounts for the public entity department
- -Schedules and maps efficient service visits to public entity clients across the Northwest
- -Travels to accounts for various service visits and to attend board meetings
- -Travels to public entity and insurance-related conferences to maintain good rapport with clients
- -Presents insurance and risk management information to clients at meetings and workshops
- -Performs in-depth risk assessments for clients to ensure OSHA compliance
- -Prepares risk assessment reports for clients based on assessment findings and OSHA standards
- -Performs physical insurance inspections of client work sites and equipment
- -Assists clients to know and understand their insurance and risk management programs
- -Makes phone calls to assigned client list each month to maintain good rapport and communication
- -Completes insurance applications with clients for marketing new renewal accounts
- -Reviews all claims and activities for assigned clients
- -Maintains agency information system according to agency standards
QUALIFICATIONS
The following list of knowledge, skills and abilities are required to successfully perform the tasks required for this position:
- -Active Oregon property and casualty insurance license
- -Must hold a valid driver's license
- -Must be willing and able to travel to accounts across Oregon, Washington, Idaho and other states as needed
- -Must be willing and able to travel in the evening and for several days in a row as required
- -Proficiency in basic office software including MS Office Suite
- -Ability to learn individual carrier forms and coverage
- -Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- -Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience strongly preferred
